Monica Kang
Guo Yongliang is a thin boy with a not very big head but he is not without thoughts. As a straight-A student in Dalian University of Foreign Languages studying English and Japanese, he takes great interest in different cultures and the common good of human race. He believes to do good to people will eventually do good to himself. Different cultures coexist harmoniously within him: he once acted a Chinese classic drama "Thunder Storm" in English and became the best actor at the College Student English Drama Contest of Dalian. And his study of global issues has matured him: he once represented Bangladesh on the subject of Microfinance in 2009 Hong Kong International Model United Nations Conference and got to know that there are too many people suffering with too few people giving hands. He's now the Chairperson of the Economic and Social Council of the Model United Nation Association of Dalian University of Foreign languages. Being an active student leader, he has launched several campaigns to broaden his schoolmates' awareness of social engagement by volunteering, giving donations, public speeches and meetings and other activities. And now, by joining this VSFS team and interviewing Everyday Diplomats, he's contributing to the world in his own way.
